Hatch Surge Protection Devices are designed as protection for lighting fixtures to provide an additional level of frontline protection against power line disturbances in industrial, commercial and residential applications.

Hatch Surge Protection Devices are available in protection levels of 10kA and 20kA, UL certification ratings Type 4CA SPD and Type 5 SPD, and provide single phase protection for line/neutral, line/ground and neutral/ground per recommendations in IEEE C62.41.2-2002 Category C High Exposure and the surge limits and testing requirements specified in ANSI C82.77-5-2017 for lighting equipment, Category C medium exposure level.

With a variety of mounting features and housing profiles, our Surge Protection Devices are easily integrated into LED, HID and fluorescent fixtures.
