Hatch Lighting Releases New LED Emergency Driver

Hatch Lighting Releases New LED Emergency Driver

TAMPA, Fla. – August 23, 2016

Hatch Lighting released a new LED emergency driver to meet the needs of the evolving industry. The new product, ELC, is a UL recognized emergency product featuring four different output configurations for customization. Between the 8W and 12W models, this emergency driver can accommodate rated output current ranging from 160mA to 750mA.

The ELC allows an LED fixture to be used for normal and emergency operation when used in conjunction with a switched or unswitched AC LED driver. The ELC can also be used in an emergency only fixture which would not require an AC LED driver to operate. In the event of a power failure, the ELC switches to emergency mode and operates the fixture for a minimum of 90 minutes.
